The candidate will provide care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical conditions requiring critical care. Duties will focus on post-operative recovery and complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring. High levels of professional competency are required. Experience in caring for patients after cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery is essential. A patient-centered approach to care is emphasized. Team members are dedicated to ensuring a pleasant and comfortable patient experience in a safe environment. Candidates must possess an associate degree in nursing. Two years of experience in the specialty field is mandatory. AHA PALS certification is preferred for those working in pediatric units. No temporary licenses will be accepted. Nurses must be willing to work every other weekend and float to other units as needed.
