Location Texas Health Southwest Job ID 101030 Department SURGICAL RECOVERY Area of Interest RN Job Type Full Time Travel Required No Qualifications/Duties: Texas Health Harris Southwest Fort Worth is looking to fill their PACU need to work full time and we want you to be part of our team. Required Minimum Education: RNs hired after January 2017 require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date. RNs hired between January 2014 and December 2016 require completion of BSN within 3 years of start date. Required license/certification: BCLS - American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (Expiration date greater than 3 months preferred) upon hire RN - Registered Nurse upon hire ACLS - American Heart Association required upon hire PALS required within 90 days of hire Skills and Abilities: A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast- paced environment. Required Experience: Minimum of 1 Year experience as a clinical nurse in PACU, ICU, ED, PCU other critical care areas or completion of an RN residency program. Preferred Qualifications: PALS Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in PACU or ICU Hours/Schedule: 36 hours per week Varied Days Call schedule rotation for closed department hours Primary call schedule : Holiday's and weekends, with shift flexibility Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth is a 222-bed full-service facility that includes surgical and imaging services, a 24-hour emergency department, orthopedics and sports therapy, adult critical care, and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit.
