About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Architect / Lead Consultant to lead the technical solution design, enterprise architecture, and cross-cloud integration strategy for a major Salesforce transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience architecting enterprise implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, with strong expertise in Marketing Cloud Connect, Journey Builder, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, SOQL/SOSL, and enterprise integration patterns. Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud is a significant advantage, particularly for organizations focused on real-time data harmonization, identity resolution, unified customer profiles, and real-time activation. This position requires an independent technical leader who can operate with minimal supervision, define architecture standards, evaluate technical options, communicate with executive stakeholders, and drive end-to-end technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Salesforce Multi-Cloud Architecture Design and document target-state architecture across: Salesforce Sales Cloud Salesforce Service Cloud Salesforce Marketing Cloud Define scalable architecture supporting a unified 360-degree customer view.
• Develop architecture blueprints, integration diagrams, data flows, and technical specifications.
• Establish architecture patterns aligned with enterprise standards and Salesforce best practices.
• Marketing Cloud Integration Architect end-to-end lead-to-opportunity and customer engagement journeys. Design integrations between Marketing Cloud and core Salesforce platforms.
• Provide technical leadership for: Marketing Cloud Connect Journey Builder Data Extensions AMPscript SQL Queries Design high-volume data pipelines and integration patterns supporting enterprise marketing operations.
• Service Cloud Architecture Design and architect Salesforce Service Cloud solutions, including: Omni-Channel Case Management Service Console Customer Self-Service Define scalable service workflows and integrations with enterprise applications. Ensure Service Cloud architecture supports business processes, customer experience, and operational requirements.
• Salesforce Data Cloud – Strong Plus Provide architecture guidance for Salesforce Data Cloud implementations. Design data ingestion streams and real-time data pipelines. Define Identity Resolution rules and unified customer profiles. Architect Data Spaces and data modeling strategies. Design real-time data activation scenarios. Support enterprise data harmonization and customer 360 initiatives.
• Integration & Security Architecture Define enterprise integration patterns using: REST APIs SOAP APIs Event-Driven Architecture Pub/Sub Middleware MuleSoft Design secure identity and access management solutions using: SSO OAuth Role-Based Access Control Ensure integrations are scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable.
• Technical Governance & Quality Establish Salesforce development and automation standards. Define best practices for: Apex LWC Flow SOQL/SOSL Conduct architecture and code/design reviews. Ensure solutions comply with Salesforce governor limits and Large Data Volume (LDV) considerations. Review technical designs and identify scalability, performance, security, and maintainability risks. Establish technical governance and quality control processes.
• Technical Leadership Operate independently and take ownership of architecture deliverables and technical decisions. Manage technical milestones and delivery dependencies. Present architecture options, recommendations, and trade-offs to executive stakeholders. Collaborate with business leaders, developers, administrators, integration teams, and enterprise architects. Mentor technical teams and provide architectural guidance throughout implementation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 13+ years of experience as a Salesforce Architect, Salesforce Technical Architect, or Lead Salesforce Consultant. Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations. Strong hands-on architecture experience across: Sales Cloud Service Cloud Marketing Cloud Deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud technologies. Strong hands-on experience with: Marketing Cloud Connect Journey Builder AMPscript Data Extensions Marketing Cloud SQL Strong Salesforce platform expertise including: Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) Advanced Flow SOQL SOSL Strong knowledge of enterprise Salesforce integration patterns. Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven integration architectures. Strong understanding of Salesforce security, identity, authentication, and authorization. Experience working with MuleSoft or similar enterprise middleware is highly preferred. Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits, scalability, performance, and Large Data Volume (LDV). Ability to independently drive technical decisions and architecture initiatives. Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
