CDL-A Local Live Haul Driver – Good Pay | Home Daily

Earn $77,600-$97,000 per year on a dedicated live haul account with home-daily routes. Pick up live turkey loads from local farms and return them to the processing facility while working with day cab equipment and 24/7 on-site management support .

Pay Details

$77,600-$97,000 Average Annual Pay

Average Weekly Pay: $1,500-$1,900
Approximately 1,590 miles/week
Holiday pay available immediately
Work boot reimbursement up to $75/year

Job Details

Pick up live turkeys from farms located approximately 5-280 miles from the processing facility
Drivers are not responsible for loading or unloading
Park at the farm while the load is secured, then return to the processing facility
Typically 1 load per day , with additional local loads available as needed
24/7 on-site management support
May be required to run off-account loads at other local accounts
Live haul safety training required

Shift Details

Sunday-Thursday
Summer start times: 6 PM-9 PM
Cooler-month start times: 1 PM-4 PM
Start times may vary based on mileage and freight
Average shift length varies based on available routes
Optional 6th day on Friday

Job Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
Clean driving record
Valid DOT Medical Card
No SAP drivers
Complete required live haul safety training
Reliable and safe operation of live haul equipment

Equipment & Training

Automatic day cabs
Live haul trailers
PPE furnished
Trucks remain at the account during time off
No passengers permitted
