Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferred
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with residents and care providers to deliver occupational therapy services, promoting independence in daily activities.
- Conduct evaluations and develop therapeutic plans of care with defined goals.
- Provide activities of daily living (ADL) training and assist residents with personal hygiene, mobility, and positioning.
- Monitor treatment efficacy and adjust plans to meet established functional goals.
- Document all interactions and progress in the EMR, ensuring accessibility for the care team.
- Recommend and instruct residents on the use of assistive devices.
- Supervise assistant-level staff as appropriate and mentor new staff during orientation.
