We're seeking a driven and analytically sharp Collections Data Analyst to join our Collections team at our downtown Greenville, SC headquarters. In this role, you'll report to the VP of Collections and serve as a critical subject matter expert—transforming complex collections data into actionable insights that fuel operational excellence and continuous improvement. What You'll Do Obsess Over Customers by analyzing customer behavior, payment patterns, and portfolio segmentation to support the development of smarter, more effective collections strategies that serve both the business and the people we lend to Embody Integrity by ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance—collaborating with Data Governance, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure all reporting aligns with applicable regulatory requirements including FDCPA and CFPB guidelines Be Decisive by independently translating complex business requirements into KPIs, dashboards, and on-demand reports—delivering clear, actionable intelligence without waiting to be asked Lead with Vision by driving the evolution and expanded utilization of data analytics across the Collections department, supporting forecasting and modeling efforts related to delinquency, charge-off, and recovery projections Go Bold by identifying cross-functional operational improvement opportunities and pushing the organization's data capabilities forward—bringing new tools, techniques, and efficiencies to the Collections team Care Always by building collaborative relationships across Collections, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Technology teams—translating technical concepts clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels Show Up to Coach Up by serving as the go-to SME for collections data analytics, providing guidance to data teams and analysts, troubleshooting data issues, and translating user requirements into technical solutions with documentation and end-user broader organization What You'll Do (Day-to-Day) Collections Insights & Improvement Analyze collections performance metrics including delinquency rates, roll rates, recovery rates, charge-off trends, and agent productivity Identify collections-related and cross-functional operational improvement opportunities Support the development and refinement of collections strategies through data-driven analysis Data Analytics & Reporting Develop and deliver reports on-demand using SQL, Tableau, Sigma, and other analytics tools Create and maintain dashboards for recurring executive reporting on portfolio health, collections effectiveness, and compliance metrics Support forecasting and modeling efforts related to delinquency, charge-off, and recovery projections Data Quality & Validation Validate the accuracy of queries and data through investigation, comparison, and reconciliation across platforms Ensure data integrity by identifying and escalating issues in collaboration with Data Governance, Compliance, and IT teams Create requirements for data elements necessary for collections analytics and reporting Project & Stakeholder Management Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Translate user requirements into technical solutions, including documentation, testing, and end-user training Participate in and provide oversight over initiatives addressing collections operational issues per executive-approved corrective measures What You Bring BA/BS in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Finance, or a related field (may be waived in lieu of relevant experience) 3–5+ years of proven experience in data analytics, preferably within financial services, consumer lending, or collections environments Experience working with collections systems, loan management platforms, or CRM tools strongly preferred Advanced proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and/or Sigma Strong analytical thinking with excellent written and verbal communication skills Skilled in problem-solving, influencing, and executing projects across cross-functional teams Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Familiarity with collections regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., FDCPA, CFPB guidelines) preferred Experience in operations, process improvement, or
