Required Skills:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the State of Texas
• CEUs maintained for licensure renewal
• Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration and documentation
• Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple cases
• Knowledge of rules and regulations related to physical therapy and occupational therapy in Texas

Nice to Have Skills:

• 1-3 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Experience in program planning and staff training
• Familiarity with HHSC regulations and documentation requirements

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Valid Texas state licensure in good standing
• Prior experience in a healthcare or community-based setting

Other Requirements:

• Must comply with HHSC immunization, drug testing, and fingerprinting requirements
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with some flexibility for assessments
• Willingness to commit to a minimum of three months, with potential for extension
• Ability to travel as needed for assessments and client visits

This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $60.00, with local and travel rates available, along with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, paid sick time, and a robust referral bonus program.
