Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in conducting patient evaluations and assessments with genuine respect and empathy.
• Implement and modify treatment plans and therapeutic exercises as directed, ensuring a tailored approach that reinforces patient needs.
• Instruct and supervise patients on prescribed therapeutic exercises, offering encouragement and ensuring safety and proper technique.
• Utilize multiple modalities such as heat therapies, cold therapies, and electrical stimulation to alleviate pain and enhance physical function.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and rehabilitation techniques to promote independence and understanding.
• Track and document patient progress, thoroughly recording treatment outcomes to facilitate ongoing care and adjustments.
• Engage in multidisciplinary communication with healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and optimize patient experiences.
• Uphold accurate patient records, prioritizing attention to detail and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• An Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.

• Strong foundation in physical therapy principles and practices, paired with a sincere passion for improving patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience
