Position Details Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Employment Type: Regular Overview This role provides timely and efficient completion of client transactions, maintains accurate records, and handles all monetary assignments. The teller delivers superior service, identifies client financial needs, supports sales and service activities, and assists with outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM). Responsibilities Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with a smile, facilitating courteous conversation, and conducting both complex and standardized transactions. Educate clients on digital, self‑service solutions such as ATMs, online, and mobile banking. Support the team sales process by participating in client outreach through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities. Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver relevant solutions. Participate fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines. Commit to advancing product and service knowledge by attending sales, service, and training sessions. Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies. Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience. Six months of client relationship building or sales experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with a personal computer and necessary branch automation software. Ability to multi‑task under time constraints. Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office. Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignments or locale changes. Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnight stays may be required. Preferred One year of client relationship building or sales experience. Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management, and loss prevention. Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients. General understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures. Benefits All regular teammates working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for franchise benefits.
