Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Neuro) – Georgia

Schedule: Day shift (7:00 AM start), includes weekend rotation required, no block scheduling available

Highlights:

• Acute care neurology unit serving a diverse patient population
• EMR system: EPIC experience required
• Collaborative environment with step-down and medical/surgical crossover responsibilities
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification mandatory for consideration
• Manager conducts direct interviews with qualified candidates
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license with current Nursys verification
• NIHSS certification (must be included in application materials)
• ACLS certification current and valid
• Minimum 2 years of neurology nursing experience required
• Strong medical/surgical background with step-down unit experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Complete work history with no gaps exceeding 60 days
• Current professional references and completed skills checklist
• Professional badge-appropriate photograph for credentialing
