Investment Funds Attorney

Role Overview Help shape legal AI systems by applying investment funds and corporate transactional experience to realistic contract-review work. You will evaluate how AI interprets legal language, identifies risk, and performs in drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining scenarios. Key Responsibilities Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises. Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback that improves precision and performance. Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for rigorous, consistent assessment of AI contract work. Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidance, and best practices for AI-driven contract-review solutions. Qualifications J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. At least 2 years of experience in the funds department of a corporate law firm. Experience with contract redlining, contract negotiation, fund formation, and fund management. Familiarity with M&A agreements, including LPAs, subscription agreements, side letters, and ISDAs. Exceptional written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail, and strong analytical skills. Ability to turn legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems and work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology. Experience with AI, legal technology, or training initiatives is preferred. Work Terms Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement. Work is completed on a task basis. Average handling time is approximately 3.5 hours per task. Compensation Advertised compensation is $90 to $130 per hour. Payment is based on completed tasks that meet project specifications, and the effective hourly rate depends on the number of tasks completed and successfully approved. #J-18808-Ljbffr
