We can`t wait getting to know you and share more about our values and local benefits.What awaits you:• Develop and recommend local EHS policies and procedures• Monitor compliance with agreed policies and procedures and initiate remedial actions• Advise on the actions necessary to achieve compliance with Statutory and Textron EHS Standards• Initiate EHS performance programs aimed at achieving best practice within the Kautex group and industry• Ensure that for all employees all HR development requirements and activities are in place and gaps closed• Define, advise and ensure Kautex EHS standards globally• Establish and maintain a Site EHS improvement planning process and regularly review Site progress towards improvement goals• Establish and maintain EHS Audit and training process• Liase with and represent the Company to statutory/regulatory bodies• Establish sytems/programs and procedures aimed at achieving LTIR, TRIR and EHS targets• Advise Site management on EHS issues and queries, recommend actions and if necessary issue instructions to cease unsafe activities• Share best practices and ensure transfer of knowledge• Has the responsibility and authority in their area of responsibility for ensuring that the OH&S and environmental (and energy) management system conforms to the requirement of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards•Ensures that all specific issues regarding quality are implemented and observed in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 • Reporting on the performance of the OH&S, environmental (and energy) management system, including OH&S, environmental (and energy) performance, to top management.• Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws, government regulations and internal guidelines• Confirm compliance of CAR requests with EHS requirements• Define Qualification matrix for the plant EHS professionals and create training programLead the facility loss management and security programs in adherence to FM Global specificationsSupport effective SUSY project development to improve efficiency in energy, waste, water usage and biodiversityResponsible to oversee the EHS program at the Troy headquarters, in conjunction with the onsite team.QualificationsWhat you'll need to succeed:• Knowledge of Textron and EHS policies, procedures and standards• Degree in engineering or comparable education• EHS accredited qualification is required• Experience in a manufacturing company• Experience in international teams• Understand how to break down vision and strategy into concrete actions • Knowledge of EHS requirements: ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001• Knowledge of quality requirements IATF 16949 and ISO 9001• Understanding of ergonomics principles• Knowledge of English is requiredJob Field: Environmental, Health & SafetyJob Type: ExperiencedSchedule: Full-timeShift: First ShiftJob Level: Manager with Direct Reports
