Speech Language Pathologist

Position: Speech Language Pathologist Location: Pahokee, Florida, United States Contract Details: Full-time Salary: Up to $55 per hour Our client, a reputable SNF facility in Pahokee, Florida, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join their team on a full-time basis. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a significant impact on their lives. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities Develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing disorders Provide therapy sessions to patients to improve their speech, language, and swallowing skills Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated and effective care for patients Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field of speech language pathology Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a SNF setting preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time-management skills We offer a competitive salary of up to $55 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
