Job description About us East Bay Pharmacy is an independently owned closed door pharmacy overlooking the beautiful city of Fall River. Opening in early 2022, East Bay Pharmacy is quickly becoming one of the area's trusted pharmacy choices for residential care programs and assisted living communities. We are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician to become a part of our team! You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist. Responsibilities Prepare medication and other healthcare products for residents of long term care and other residential facilities Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders Process prescriptions using computer software Label and record dosage information Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies Qualifications Previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields (preferred) Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Strong organizational skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: Competitive; Based on experience Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Prescription drug insurance Physical Setting Long term care Schedule Monday to Friday Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate Fall River, MA 02720: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (Preferred) Shift availability Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr East Bay Pharmacy Corp
