Heavy Equipment Assembler

Job Responsibilities Set up from blueprints and wire high or low voltage boxes according to wiring schematics. Read and interpret micro, PLC, and relay schematics. Assemble sub‑assemblies and finished products in accordance with written and verbal instructions (industrial cranes and sub‑assemblies). Perform all aspects of assembly work and safely operate heavy equipment as directed. Conduct on‑line testing and inspection activities. Maintain accurate records. Operate forklifts as required. Comply with the Quality System in accordance with ISO 9001. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations to maintain a goal of zero incidents and injuries. Perform other duties as assigned. This role will move to our Monee facility in early 2026. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. 1‑3 years relevant work experience. Electrical assembly experience preferred. Ability to read prints and shop manuals. Prior experience with hand and air tools. Requires knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic assemblies and testing. Ability to meet deadlines and understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, management, vendors, and other employees. Basic knowledge of use of power and hand tools. Physical & Environmental Requirements Production work indoors and outdoors in all seasons. Requires exposure to noise, chemicals, heavy equipment, and machinery. Accurate hand/eye coordination, finger dexterity, and hand strength are required. Tasks involve climbing, twisting, bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting parts up to 50 pounds. Climbs ladders and/or scaffolding as needed. Compensation & Benefits Hourly range: $20.00 to $26.00.
