Job#: 3035301 Job Description: Senior Business Analyst Location: Houston, TX (Onsite) Duration: 12+ months Industry: Energy / Trading / Mid & Back Office Overview We are looking for a true core Business Analyst who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and deeply grounded in BA fundamentals. This role requires someone who can dig into requirements, understand scope end-to-end, and connect detailed analysis to the big picture. This position will support initiatives transitioning from front office into mid and back office operations. Key Responsibilities * Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation across business functions * Break down complex problems into clear functional and business requirements (A, B, C level detail) * Conduct deep-dive analysis into scope, ensuring clarity and alignment * Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to validate requirements * Translate business needs into functional specifications for delivery teams * Support functional testing, UAT, and validation activities * Collaborate with technical teams, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery * Assist with business process mapping and improvement initiatives * Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions Required Qualifications * 6-10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst * Strong experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and analysis * Highly analytical and detail-oriented mindset * Proven ability to connect detailed requirements to broader business objectives * Experience with functional testing and validation processes * Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Preferred Qualifications * Experience in Energy, Energy Services, or Trading environments * Exposure to mid-office and back-office operations * Familiarity with Agile methodologies * Experience working in large-scale transformation programs Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
