Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | 3x12-hour shifts, rotating days of the week with varied shifts; schedule may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic MRI scans and assist radiologists and referring physicians with MRI procedures
• Apply advanced technical skills and MRI physics knowledge to operate scanning equipment in an efficient and accurate manner
• Provide age-appropriate patient care across the lifespan, from infant through geriatric populations, in accordance with department competency standards
• Make technical decisions to ensure the best possible MRI image quality using various scanning equipment
• Participate in after-hours standby and callback as required; call is required for this position
• Float to other areas of the organization as needed, up to competency level, and may be required to work major holidays or pick up additional shifts during the schedule period

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in MRI required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• Experience with GE or Philips MRI scanners required
• Prior travel experience of at least one completed 13-week assignment required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced acute care or trauma environment
• Familiarity with hospital and department computer systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage simultaneous demands while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
