Sr Accountant

LHH has partnered with a growing, organization who’s seeking a Sr Accountant to play a key role in supporting core financial functions and strengthening overall accounting operations. This position partners closely with senior finance leadership. Responsibilities of this Sr Accountant role include: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll-related postings, and general ledger activity Assist in the development and preparation of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Contribute to the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and reliability of financial data Provide leadership, guidance, and development support to members of the accounting team Delegate and prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines and organizational goals are consistently achieved Support the establishment and maintenance of internal controls in alignment with company policies and accounting standards Collaborate on audit processes by compiling required documentation and addressing inquiries Assist with tax compliance activities and ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements Analyze existing accounting processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Participate in system upgrades, implementations, and process improvement initiatives Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of accounting procedures and workflows Partner cross-functionally with teams such as operations, sales, and engineering to ensure financial data integrity Deliver insights and analysis to support budgeting, cost control, and strategic decision-making Minimum requirements include: Bachelors in Accounting 3-5 years of accounting experience with familiarity with GAAP Proficiency with QuickBooks Benefit offerings include competitive salary with excellent benefits; medical, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA, and 401K plan with employer match.
