Assistant Nurse Manager (Full Time)

Job Summary The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a professional Registered Nurse reporting to the unit director/manager. The ANM utilizes the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities within the assigned shift and supports the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the unit. Responsibilities Manage clinical and non-clinical caregivers during assigned shifts. Provide managerial presence for all shifts. Coordinate with the director/manager on performance evaluation and service delivery. Execute unit planning, organization, direction, and evaluation of services. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BS or BSN) or equivalent; BSN encouraged for RN employees prior to Nov 1, 2024. Registered Nurses with an Alaska Registered Nurse License. Recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital. Experience as Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse. Licensing and Education Applicants must hold an active Alaska Registered Nurse License.
