Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to support the cardiac catheterization unit. The ideal candidate will assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare and operate cath lab equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians during procedures such as heart caths, angiograms, and stent placements.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vitals and provide pre- and post-procedure care.
  
  
• 
  Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures accurately within the electronic medical record system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Certified Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Tech) with registration to work in cath lab settings.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year experience in cath lab, specializing in cardiac procedures.
  
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization, angiography, and related techniques.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work effectively in a team and handle high-pressure situations.
  
  
• 
  Current CPR and ACLS certification required.
  
  
• 
  Must demonstrate excellent communication and patient care skills.
