What You'll Do

• Perform high-quality 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac ultrasound exams on adult and pediatric patients.
• Coordinate exam scheduling with hospital departments and transport patients as needed.
• Assist cardiologists during exam procedures by preparing and measuring M-modes.
• Handle documentation, logging patient information, and managing patient records.
• Respond to patient needs and monitor their condition during exams.
• Maintain equipment quality, perform routine repairs, and keep exam rooms clean and stocked.
• Participate in quality improvement activities within the department.
• Contribute to emergency echo procedures on an on-call basis.

What You Need

• ARDMS/CCI registration or registry-eligible certification
• State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
• BLS certification through American Heart Association
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of echocardiography experience (preferred)
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Manual dexterity for sonography procedures

• Allied health training such as radiologic technologist, respiratory therapist, occupational or physical therapist, or registered nurse
