Admissions Counselor

Waynesburg University

AVAILABLE: Immediately. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. This is a full-time position.

SALARY/RANK: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in recruitment, admissions, sales, or a related field preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain required clearances. Candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with various publics, and be free to travel on behalf of the University. Demonstrated organizational skills, strong technology skills, including proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office and demonstrated ability to work independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Admissions Counselor plays a key role in advancing the University’s enrollment goals by identifying, recruiting, and enrolling prospective students. This position is responsible for building relationships with students, families, and school partners; managing a recruitment territory; and guiding prospective students through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment. The Admissions Counselor serves as a representative of the University and is expected to communicate its mission, values, and opportunities with professionalism and enthusiasm.
