Position Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including those of the abdomen, obstetrics, gynecology, vascular studies, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures while clearly explaining each step with tenderness and professionalism
• Partner intimately with radiologists and referring physicians to yield high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any operational issues
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of the latest ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
