Blood Draw SpecialistThis is a temporary job opportunity with the potential for permanent placement. Position: Blood Draw Specialist Location: Imperial CA and surrounding areas (floating position) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6AM to 6PM (start and end times may vary) Projected duration: 3 months or longer with potential for permanent hire Hourly pay rate: $23.00 to $25.00, commensurate with experience Employee benefits available Will travel to locations in Brawley and Calexico as needed Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation. Mileage expenses reimbursed. Must have experience working with both pediatric and geriatric patients Duties: Primary responsibilities include conducting blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, data recording, decontamination procedures, updating patient records, etc. Properly instruct patients on venipuncture process, utilize appropriate needles, follow physician orders, match requisition forms to samples, prepare samples for transport, follow safety regulations, and attend required trainings. Additional responsibilities may include answering phone calls and communicating lab results. Requirements: Valid Phlebotomy certification, minimum 6 months of venipuncture experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, high school diploma or GED. 5 to 7 years of experience required
