Job Description:
If you want to make a significant impact as a Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery in GUNNISON, CO this position might be what you are looking for!

Responsibilities:

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, contractions, and labor progress, assessing any complications and providing appropriate interventions during labor and delivery.
• Support women through the stages of labor, assist in birthing procedures, and collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and anesthesiologists to manage deliveries, including assisting with vaginal births or cesarean sections.
• Administer pain relief options, such as epidurals, IV medications, or other comfort measures, and assist with pain management during labor and delivery.
• Provide care to both mother and newborn immediately following delivery, including assessing recovery, promoting bonding, providing breastfeeding support, and educating parents about newborn care and recovery.

Qualifications:

• CO Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
• 1-2 years of experience in L&D or obstetric care

• Pay: $2,631.27 - $2,712.65 / week
• Location: GUNNISON, CO
• Assignment Length: 13
• Shift: Rotating 3x12 - up to 36.00 hours per week
• Setting: Hospital
• Workplace: On-site
