Location: Columbia, MO Pay Rate: $21.50 - $23.05 per hour (based on experience) Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Why This Role Matters As a Phlebotomist II, you play a critical role in the patient experience and diagnostic testing process. Your skill in specimen collection, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional service help ensure patients receive accurate and timely testing that supports their healthcare journey. What You'll Do Collect high-quality blood specimens through venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric collections Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures Verify patient identification, demographic information, and specimen labeling accuracy Obtain patient signatures and ensure specimens are properly labeled in the patient's presence Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties Maintain accurate records and documentation while safeguarding patient confidentiality Create a welcoming, professional environment that builds patient trust and confidence Support patient service center and physician office operations as assigned Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment What We're Looking For A current, up-to-date resume High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Strong venipuncture and specimen collection skills Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred Two years of Patient Service Center experience preferred Customer service experience in a retail, healthcare, or service environment highly preferred Keyboard and data entry experience Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to multiple locations as needed Strong communication skills and commitment to exceptional patient care Ability to meet compliance requirements Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US What's In It For You Opportunity to make a direct impact on patient care and healthcare outcomes Consistent daytime schedule with full-time hours Hands-on experience in a patient-focused healthcare environment Exposure to diverse patient populations and specimen collection procedures Supportive and collaborative team environment Potential pathway to long-term employment based on performance and business needs Benefits for Manpower Associates (Upon Eligibility) Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for: Medical and Prescription Drug Plans Dental Plan Supplemental Life Insurance Short Term Disability Insurance 401(k) ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
