Cash Management Services Officer

Scope of Job:Corporate responsibility for sales efforts of all Cash Management Services (CMS) and ancillary deposit services, including Desktop Deposit and Merchant Credit Card Services. Position also ensures BankWest provides day-to-day technical and operational support for business clients enrolled in and actively using CMS products. The CMS administrator develops and introduces ideas and concepts for new business banking products and services, suggests modifications to current products as necessary and maintains current knowledge of CMS industry best practices. Primary Duties:Works independently with loan officers, business development officers, deposit production officers and financial services personnel to generate leads/referrals to sell cash management and ancillary deposit services to existing business clients and new business prospects.Conduct analysis of customer/prospect financial statements in order to prepare and present proposals to prospective new clients or expand relationships with existing clients; typically this will involve cooperative efforts with other associates who are the primary relationship manager for the customer/prospect.Assist businesses in selecting, implementing, and troubleshooting payment processing solutions, including credit/debit card acceptance, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and e-commerce payment solutions.Develop and enhance customer financial relationships through proactive communication efforts with CMS clients.Oversees and directs CMS product installation and implementation within BankWest and its branches; provides both information and basic training for associates who introduce CMS products to potential business clients.Actively participates in testing, evaluation and development of product/system upgrades or enhancements to ensure satisfactory performance prior to implementation at customer level; works with technical support position, Information Technology staff, and third party vendors on behalf of clients to troubleshoot and resolve operational and/or system-based problems.Researches and compiles reports on competitor's CMS products and analyzes strategies to recommend advantageous marketing positions for BankWest; maintain strong, in-depth knowledge all BankWest business deposit product offerings and stays current on national industry trends and best practices as related to CMS.Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently, including occasional overnight stays away from home office. Secondary Duties:Work as a team with departmental counterparts on planning and implementing assigned projects and products.Participate on various committees and project teams as deemed appropriate by management.Attend, actively participate in organization, job specific training offered, and Quality Service programs.Adhere to all applicable Policies and Procedures of BankWest organization.Community involvement is strongly encouraged.Other duties as assigned. RequirementsEducation:A Bachelor's Degree in a related field.Applicable experience and/or related certifications may be considered in lieu of degree.Experience:Background in business.Experience in sales and customer service. Knowledge and Special Skills:Ability to work dependently and/or independently, under pressure, meet deadlines, and adjust work schedules as needed to complete job responsibilities.Ability to organize and handle multiple responsibilities while delivering quality external and/or internal Customer Service.Strong interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication with external and/or internal customers.Knowledge or ability to learn regulatory requirements pertinent to performance of specified duties in job description.Knowledge of banking terminology and procedures.Ability to skillfully use a variety of application software, learn computer programs, and comprehend the program output.Adhere to Federal Privacy Standards in addition to following BankWest requirements for electronic communication and Social Engineering standards.BankWest is a "Sales Organization" and all employees are expected to participate directly or indirectly with increasing BankWest's presence in their markets as appropriate.
