We are excited to open our new Romeoville branch and are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead the team and help establish ECU as a trusted financial partner in the community.

The ideal candidate is an energetic leader with banking or credit union experience who is passionate about member service, team development, networking, and community involvement. Strong community connections and the ability to build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community partners are highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, train, and develop branch employees while creating a culture of teamwork, accountability, and exceptional                member service.
• Take ownership of branch sales, service, operational, and production goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members, businesses, employer groups, community organizations, and community partners.
• Actively network and represent ECU at community events and initiatives to increase awareness and generate new business.
• Drive growth in new memberships, loans, Visa, checking accounts, and other ECU products and services.
• Analyze branch performance and develop strategies to improve results.
• Oversee daily branch operations, including cash, vault, ATM, opening/closing, security, and administrative responsibilities.
• Resolve member concerns and ensure a consistently positive member experience.
• Ensure compliance with ECU policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote and cross-sells ECU products and services.
• Work with leadership and other departments to support ECU's strategic objectives.
• Serve members in an MSR or FSR capacity as needed.

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive banking or credit union experience preferred.
• Previous branch leadership or management experience.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
• Strong sales, relationship-building, and member service skills.
• Strong networking and community engagement skills with the ability to build relationships with local businesses and organizations.
• Professional, approachable, and comfortable representing ECU in the community.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to analyze performance and take action to achieve goals.
• Strong understanding of compliance, operational controls, and security.
• Portico experience preferred.
• Reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• NMLS license or the ability to obtain one within the required timeframe.
• Notary Public commission required within 90 days of employment.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, generally 8:45 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional later hours
• Saturdays, generally 7:45 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
• Flexibility to participate in community events and networking opportunities as needed
• Available to work at other branches as needed (Oswego, Batavia, Yorkville, Aurora and Montgomery)
