Position Description Ryder is hiring an experienced Mid‑Level Diesel Technician in Plant City, Florida. This position offers weekly pay, quality benefits, and a career you can feel good about. Responsibilities Interact with customers and independently facilitate preventive maintenance, repair issue resolution, and new repair estimate discussions; coordinate work schedules as required. Road test vehicles to identify causes of complaints, ensure repair quality, and deliver customer satisfaction. Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle repairs across systems such as A/C & heater, brakes‑air, brakes‑hydraulic, cargo handling, lift gates, charging system, clutch, cooling system, cranking system, lighting, drive axles, driveline, fuel system, steering, suspension, wheel maintenance, and vehicle coupling. Utilize shop management systems and electronic documentation; perform work in compliance with federal, provincial, and corporate safety and environmental standards. Maintain service, safety, and environmental records per corporate, federal, state, and local requirements. Migrate and maintain key maintenance measurements, inspection data, and safety metrics.
