Chief Financial Officer

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $270,000 to $300,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Play a strategic role on the executive team, shaping business direction, resource allocation, and growth planning
- Build and maintain relationships with global partners, clients, and stakeholders to support business development
- Lead financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and risk management to ensure fiscal stability
- Present financial insights and performance updates to the Board and senior leadership
- Oversee financial planning and analysis across multiple regions, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance
- A minimum of 10+ years in senior finance leadership, with experience across multiple states or international markets
- Strong background in financial strategy, operational efficiency, and margin improvement
- Familiarity with ERP platforms and advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Experience managing audits, regulatory compliance, and tax reporting across jurisdictions
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement scalable financial systems
- A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA is strongly preferred
- Experience in professional services or the AEC industry is a plus
- Skilled in mentoring teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence executive decision-making
- Forward-thinking mindset with a practical approach to solving complex financial challenges
