Position SummaryThe Porter I supports construction crews by preparing units, staging materials, maintaining jobsite cleanliness, and assisting technicians with basic tasks. This role is not responsible for independent trade work but plays a critical role in keeping projects moving efficiently.Core ResponsibilitiesClean and prepare units for construction work (trash-out, sweep, debris removal)Stage materials, tools, and supplies for technicians and crew leadsAssist with basic tasks such as:Demo and material removalMasking and prep for paintBasic jobsite organizationMaintain clean, safe, and organized job sitesLoad, unload, and transport materials as neededFollow direction from Crew Lead and technicians to support productionPerformance ExpectationsMaintains consistent attendance and punctualityFollows direction without repeated correctionCompletes assigned support tasks quickly and reliablyContributes to overall crew efficiency and jobsite flowDemonstrates willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilitySkills & RequirementsRequired:Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, standing, repetitive tasks)Willingness to work in a construction environmentAbility to follow direction and work as part of a teamReliable transportationPreferred:Any prior experience in labor, construction, or maintenanceInterest in learning construction trades
