Senior Electrical Project Engineer - Substation & FACTS

As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you will work on cutting-edge projects involving Substation, FACTS, and STATCOM technologies. This is your chance to make a real impact on our communities and society while working with fantastic people and developing yourself professionally.How you'll make an impactDesign and execute projects in line with customer specifications and global standards.Create work plans and cost estimates, ensuring quality deliverables.Lead the development of innovative solutions for complex projects.Prepare manufacturing documents and design drawings for FACTS plants.Coordinate electrical engineering across multiple projects.Conduct risk and opportunity assessments, implementing resulting actions.Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning.Interact directly with customers, officials, contractors, and supply chain.Your backgroundBS/M.Sc./Ph.D in Electrical Engineering and 5 or more years of relevant experience.Experience with FACTS or HV transmission substation solutions required.Knowledge of National Electric Code and ANSI/IEEE requirements.Control and Protection panel design experience preferred.Relay configuration knowledge is a plus.Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.Candidates may be required to travel from 1 to 4 months to Sweden for specialized training.More about usWe pride ourselves on offering a holistic range of competitive benefits to support your financial, physical, and mental wellbeing and personal development.
