Medical Biller – ABA Services / In-Office

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller to manage billing and claims processes for an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) company. The ideal candidate understands behavioral health/ABA billing, insurance requirements, and claim follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit and manage insurance claims accurately and timely.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Review claims for errors, denials, and payment issues.
• Follow up on outstanding claims and accounts receivable.
• Post insurance and patient payments.
• Handle claim corrections, appeals, and resubmissions.
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and requirements.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of medical billing experience; ABA or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT codes, insurance authorizations, and claims processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines independently.

Preferred: Experience billing ABA services and familiarity with common ABA CPT codes, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans.
