Press Brake Operator

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:This is not an entry-level role. We are seeking a highly skilled operator who can independently program, set up, and run Press Brake with minimal supervision. We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced press brake operator. This position is responsible for the daily set up and operation of the press brake.Experience:Read and interpret detailed engineering drawingsWorking knowledge of fabrication and press brake operations including basic set up.Good competency in basic shop mathStrong sheet metal forming skills and fabrication background in a manufacturing environmentEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Select correct tooling, load, se-up and operate press brakeInterpret and utilize engineering drawings and work order instructionsPerform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers and tape measuresPerform equipment preventative maintenance at operator levelMaintain a clean, organized and safe work areaPerform additional duties as assignedPhysical requirements:Lift, carry push and pull up to 50 IlbsSquat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequentlySit, stand and walk for 1-10 hours per dayAbility to work in a non climate controlled environment
