Business Systems Analyst

About the Position Business Systems Analyst I – responsible for supporting all hardware and software issues, providing escalated technical problem resolution, end‑user training, and process improvement recommendations within a warehouse management environment. Key Responsibilities Resolve escalated technical issues for hardware, software, operating systems, patches, and configuration changes. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve problems related to computer equipment, viruses, system crashes, and application functionality. Install, troubleshoot, and develop solutions for company‑specific software and warehouse management systems. Act as a technical resource to assist users with computer and RF repairs, as well as workstation integration. Document procedures, solutions, and create workaround procedures when standard procedures fail. Maintain records of daily communication transactions and actions taken in the ticketing database. Escalate urgent problems to appropriate internal resources and provide follow‑up support. Offer one‑on‑one training and technical assistance to end users. Assist with reporting solutions by providing analytic queries and tools for operational management. Support site intranet and basic website maintenance using PHP, HTML, and XML where necessary. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Order Management System (OMS); SAP WMS experience preferred. Experience with shipping software (TMS, Parcel, or other carrier applications) preferred. Basic SQL skills; experience with DB2 SQL or MySQL preferred. Experience with File Transfer Protocol and API communication methods preferred. Basic XML skills helpful; PHP and HTML experience helpful. Travel Requirements This position may require rare travel. A passport is not required but is recommended.
