Job Title: CDL Truck Driver (Delivery Specialist)

Responsibilities:

• • Deliver goods and food products to stores, ensuring accuracy and documenting discrepancies.

• • Safely operate and maintain various truck types, adhering to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.

• • Pre-trip inspections & post-trip documentation.

• • Load and unload cargo efficiently using pallet jacks and other equipment.

• • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with customers and store personnel.

• • Complete Electronic Logging Device (ELD) entries accurately and timely.

• • Perform light vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluids and tire pressure.

Skills and Qualifications:

• • Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe driving practices.

• • Proven experience using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.

• • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.

• • Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years.

• • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

• • Dependability, punctuality, and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and accurately.

Education, Experience, and Age Requirements:

• • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• • Valid CDL (Class A, B, or C) with a certificate from an accredited CDL school.

• • Minimum age of 21 years old.

• • At least six months of relevant experience in delivery truck driving preferred.
