Part-Time (Telehealth) Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Bloomington/Lafayette/Merrillville, IN At MedMark, we take a patient-centered approach to opioid addiction treatment. In the first days of treatment, we’ll design an individualized plan that’s suited to your needs. We don’t just offer rehabilitation counseling and methadone treatment; MedMark clinics also provide physical evaluations, drug screenings, case management services, relapse prevention education, and after-care planning. Additionally, certain clinic locations offer methadone detox, buprenorphine maintenance, and group counseling. All of our services focus on helping you achieve long-term sobriety to enhance your wellbeing and improve your quality of life. Job Responsibilities Assist in admitting patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment Obtain a history and physical exam Document into the EMR, enter orders for methadone dosing or write a buprenorphine prescription Authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medication by medical staff in the Medical Director’s absence Consistently monitor patient dosages in conjunction with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, counselors and dosing nurses Other related duties as determined by supervisor Position Requirements Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in good standing with the State of Indiana Six months of addiction medicine treatment experience preferred Ability to interact compassionately with a diverse population Successful drug screen and criminal background check What to Expect From Us MedMark Treatment Centers is a progressive substance abuse treatment organization committed to the highest quality of patient care in a comfortable outpatient clinic setting.
