Job Opportunity: OB/GYN

Our organization, located in Macomb, IL, is on the lookout for a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN to become part of a thriving, team-oriented practice in West-Central Illinois. This role offers the chance to work in a cutting-edge Women's Center equipped with modern Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) suites, along with robust surgical support. Practice Environment

You will join a dedicated team consisting of 2 OB/GYNs, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife. Our facility features:

• Level II Nursery
• Advanced Women's Center with state-of-the-art LDR suites
• Private postpartum rooms
• Onsite MFM Ultrasound
• Cerner EMR system
• Onsite surgical team
• 24-hour anesthesia support
• Collaborative care model with CNMs, pediatricians, and advanced practice providers
• Approximately 300 deliveries each year

Work Schedule

• Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Dedicated OR Block Time: Monday & Friday, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• First call taken by CNM

This schedule promotes both surgical consistency and balanced call coverage.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range: $400,000 - $500,000 (dependent on experience)
• Sign-On bonus of $100,000

Position Overview

As an OB/GYN with our organization, you will deliver comprehensive women's healthcare services, which include:

• Annual wellness exams and preventive screenings
• Diagnosis and treatment of gynecological conditions and infections
• Contraceptive counseling and fertility assistance
• Care during prenatal and postnatal periods
• Labor and delivery services
• Gynecological surgical procedures
• Evaluation, treatment, referral, or admission of patients as clinically indicated

You will work closely with clinic personnel, medical staff, and hospital leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical institution
• Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Eligibility for an unrestricted medical license in Illinois
• Current DEA registration
• ACLS certification
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required within 6 months if not current)
• Proof of attendance in an approved Fetal Monitoring Course every 2 years
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
