What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities in a calm, professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations using strong judgment and problem-solving skills, and report details according to post guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle activity in accordance with location policies.
• Support operations at a public utility location by observing infrastructure areas for potential hazards, disruptions, and/or maintenance-related issues, then communicating findings to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
