The Behavior Exchange offers individualized, early-start therapy and education programs for children with autism spectrum disorders, behavioral issues, developmental delays, and other special needs. Complete additional paperwork requirements in an accurate and timely manner as notified by administration, including ABA initial assessments, re‑assessments, and discharge documentation. Collaborate with administration and other disciplines involved in the child’s care to promote consistent and quality services for children and families. Evaluate children using appropriate testing protocols and tools to follow funding guidelines for each particular child. Implement individualized and evidence‑based interventions for ABA clients. Provide therapy services to children based on the recommended number of units from evaluations and funding source approvals. Provide therapy services in highly specialized facilities with an emphasis on goal attainment through appropriate developmental progression of functional skill attainment and real‑life experiences. Provide documentation of all therapy services by locking and electronically signing weekly progress notes, including reviewing and signing off on all RBT treatment notes. Update schedule in deTASO or other software, as directed. Conduct parent training sessions and communicate changes/updates to families. Supervise and mentor BT, RBT, and/or ABA Fieldwork Students. Participate in multidisciplinary conferences as needed. Demonstrate continued growth in therapeutic skills through learning, knowledge, and application. What you have Experience working with individuals diagnosed with ASD and other developmental disabilities. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people. Must be able to work with children birth to age 21 and families who are at risk. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment. Basic computer skills which include a working knowledge of keyboarding, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents. Ability to author routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of families or employees of the organization. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Reports for work dressed appropriately and complies with company policies regarding the dress code. Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance. Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. Travel may be required. Master's degree in Behavior Analysis or related field. Active status as Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) or upcoming BCBA eligibility (exam scheduled) Essential Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to accurately communicate information and ideas so others will understand through sight and hearing.
