Aeronautical Information Specialist

Job Title
Major duties include:
- Assist in compiling and coordinating aeronautical studies and data related to Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) Part 77 and FAA Order JO 7400.2, under supervision.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather assessments and feedback, including input from Division Responders and subject matter experts.
- Support the drafting, reviewing, and editing of reports or formal determinations regarding the impact of structures on the National Airspace System (NAS).
- Assist in composing determination letters concerning potential hazards posed by structures, with guidance from senior specialists.
- Participate in analyzing and evaluating critical aeronautical information for publication by Aeronautical Information Services.
- Help prepare analyses and case information for presentation to senior agency executives and public entities.
- Learn and understand interoffice relationships to assist in consolidating comments and resolving differences between stakeholders.
- Support the development of plans, techniques, and policies addressing challenges, under the guidance of senior management.
- Apply expertise in relevant regulations to participate in teams responsible for reviewing agency policies, orders, and advisory circulars.
