Caregiver Position

Are you a compassionate and experienced caregiver looking to make a difference in the lives of seniors? Griswold Home Care is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in Baton Rouge. As a caregiver, youll provide essential non-medical assistance to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.
Create a safe and supportive environment for clients.
Foster meaningful connections with clients by engaging in conversation and companionship.
Maintain accurate records of care provided.

Qualifications:

Compassionate Provider: You genuinely care about the well-being of others and are committed to making a positive impact.
Professional Experience: You have at least 3 years of verified professional experience working with the elderly.
Background Check: A clean criminal background record is required.
References: Provide a minimum of 2 recent professional references (not friends or family).
Drivers License or State ID: You must have a valid drivers license or state-issued ID.
Availability: Be prepared for flexible scheduling, including 7-day shifts (12 hours each) from 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am.
