In fact, the hospital is located several miles due east of the exact spot in the Colorado River where the three states come together!How you'll contributeA CNA who excels in this role:Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, performs basic patient care activities in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN or LPN, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.Assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.Assists with keeping patients rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.Provides quality patient care; works flexible shifts or units as needed.Maintains regular and reliable attendance.Performs other duties assigned.Why join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Growth in the area meant growth at the hospital, and Valley View's main building is now 126,000 square feet. This state-of-the-art hospital is currently licensed with 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, 12 intensive care beds, and an eight-bed labor, delivery, and post-partum unit, and is the only all private bed hospital serving the Bullhead City/Laughlin/Needles area.
