Front Desk Receptionist Manchester, IA Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 9-5:30 May be some flexibility $17.00-$20.00 based on experience Job Overview A local healthcare office is seeking a dependable and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join its team. This role combines front office responsibilities with administrative support in a fast‑paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate enjoys helping others, has strong communication skills, and is comfortable balancing multiple priorities throughout the day. Primary Responsibilities Welcome patients and visitors while providing excellent customer service. Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally. Schedule appointments and update patient information. Verify insurance information and complete required authorizations when needed. Maintain and organize patient records while ensuring confidentiality. Process office paperwork, payments, and other administrative tasks. Assist with records requests and document management. Provide support to clinical staff with non‑patient care duties. Keep reception and clinical areas clean, organized, and stocked. Complete general office projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or professional office preferred. Strong computer and data entry skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, or electronic health records is helpful but not required.
