Respiratory Therapist

Role Overview: This on-site Respiratory Therapist position involves providing advanced patient care in a technologically complex clinical setting. The RT collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based respiratory therapies, manage ventilators, airway support, and adaptive pulmonary treatments across various care levels. Responsibilities Utilize respiratory therapy protocols to promote optimal patient outcomes. Partner effectively with healthcare team members to ensure exceptional care. Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and quality at the point of care. Precept and mentor new healthcare staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Manage complex respiratory equipment and support adaptive pulmonary therapies. Participate in clinical and process improvement projects to enhance practice and efficiency. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC. State licensure required. Certifications in ACLS, NRP, PALS (within 6 months), and BLS in hand before start. Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
