Job Overview Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist – Syracuse, New York Position Details Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Requirements Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent. Active NYS license/registration as a Radiologic Technologist. Minimum one (1) year of CT/MRI experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Cat Lab and/or Interventional Radiology experience preferred. Must successfully complete pre‑employment health clearance. Responsibilities Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists. Greet patients, explain imaging procedures, and position patients appropriately for examinations. Set proper exposure factors to obtain high‑quality radiographic images. Practice radiation safety and protection standards to minimize patient exposure. Operate imaging equipment efficiently and report equipment malfunctions to the immediate supervisor. Process films and accurately input information into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing purposes. Follow departmental procedures, protocols, and policy guidelines regarding imaging services. Provide radiologic examinations based on referring physician and radiologist needs.
