Provides specialized speech therapy assessments and interventions to patients, aiming to improve communication and swallowing functions. Collaborates with healthcare teams to develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities to establish treatment needs.
- Design and implement therapeutic programs tailored to each patient's condition.
- Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
- Collaborate with clinicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
- Hold a valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Demonstrate current knowledge of speech and language therapy techniques.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
