This role is responsible for the full operation of our Okuma Horizontal Milling Center. The CNC Operator will collaborate with cross-functional departments and contribute to the smooth, efficient operation of our organization.The ideal candidate is a positive, motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working on a variety of projects. Each role offers visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to help shape the future of our company.Responsibilities:Program, set up, and operate an Okuma Horizontal Milling CenterRead and interpret engineering part drawingsUtilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, and depth micrometersInput and adjust tool offsetsInspect, clean, and pack finished productsAccurately complete all quality control documentation and inspection sheetsPerform other duties as assigned or as business needs requireQualifications:Technical college training a plus; High School diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to work with minimal supervisionTeam player with the ability to work independentlySelf-starter with a proactive work approachAbility to read and work from engineering drawingsKnowledge of set-up, tooling, and fixturesExperience with basic G-code interpretation and understandingExperience with Okuma Horizontal Milling Centers preferredFamiliarity with Mastercam CAM and SolidWorks or similar programming softwareAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 70 pounds without assistanceAbility to manage multiple tasks and assignmentsWe offer a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:15 days of paid time offPaid holidaysPaid Christmas week breakMedical, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan with employer match
