Janitorial Cleaner

Job Description

We are seeking a Janitorial Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning, sanitation, and equipment maintenance, ensuring all building areas are well-stocked and hygienic. This position offers a flexible afternoon schedule with equipment supplied and requires onsite interviews and resume review.

Responsibilities

Clean and supply designated building areas including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, ceiling vents, and restrooms
Mop and vacuum floors, disinfect surfaces, and empty trash and recycle cans
Perform and document weekly routine inspections and cleaning activities
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as needed
Notify management of deficiencies or repair needs
Stock and maintain supply cabinets and ensure equipment readiness
Cooperate with staff and follow all health and safety regulations

Required Qualifications

Experience with commercial cleaning methods and equipment
Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and waste disposal practices
Ability to perform routine inspections and maintain basic documentation
Reliable communication and teamwork abilities
