Facilities Specialist

Facilities Specialist Canandaigua National Bank Location: 72 South Main St. Canandaigua, NY 14424. Travel to all CNC locations as needed. Essential Duties Responsible for supporting the maintenance function, conducting routine inspections of premises, coordinating work, performing preventive maintenance, handling basic repairs, and overseeing contractors for professional repairs. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor and prioritizes incoming requests. Must be available for “On Call” to address after‑hours and weekend emergencies. Maintains a clean and safe environment – pick up trash and debris; pressure wash buildings and pavement; mow grass; trim shrubbery; maintain landscape; clear snow and ice; clean spills; straighten walk‑off mats; wash windows; and perform similar custodial and exterior maintenance duties. Operates bank‑owned vehicles (requires a valid New York driver’s license) to travel between CNC properties (Ontario, Monroe, Cayuga, and Onondaga counties) and is responsible for their care, maintenance, and service. Efficiently addresses tasks within the work order system, including prioritizing, responding, escalating, and documenting. Diagnoses maintenance and repair issues, evaluates corrective options, and determines when external vendors or contractors must be contacted. Maintains equipment such as light fixtures, bulbs, ballasts, toilets, door closers, emergency lighting, and exterior street clocks. Coordinates work with vendors and contractors, providing on‑site escort and supervision as required. Understands and interprets blueprints, schematic drawings, and other work diagrams. Installs office components such as keyboard trays, under‑counter computer brackets, sit/stand workstations, and modular furniture systems. Delivers or picks up mail, supplies, food, documents, storage boxes, merchandise, and other materials. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management, overall safety and soundness, and the bank’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, including the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and other applicable regulations. Skills and Qualifications Basic reading and writing skills. Basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and painting work. Strong organizational, follow‑up, and detail‑oriented skills. Ability to comprehend written materials and instructions. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet search functions. Ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs. and move objects up to 150 lbs. using a hand truck or dollies. Valid driver’s license required.
